Jerry Lee Lewis

Tonight my family went to see Jerry Lee Lewis, my father's rock 'n' roll hero. It was a fun way to spend my father's 65th birthday at B.B. King Blues Club in Times Square. Jerry Lee Lewis is 74 years old and is widely known for his hit "Great Balls of Fire" and "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin On." It is hard to believe he was seen as too edgy for his time. The women certainly like him, though. He has had six wives. Despite years of hard living, he performed with his trademark southern voice and fast piano playing. I am glad my father got to see him live for the first time. Happy birthday Dad!
